Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess competence-based training, including group or classroom-based sessions, in the workplace or college environment
- Set, mark, and assess students work, ensuring that learning outcomes have been met and that feedback is both detailed and constructive
- Keep up to date with relevant course subject matter, industrial/commercial developments, course examination/assessment requirements and legislation
- Use technology, including the colleges virtual learning environment, effectively to enable independent learning at any time or place
- Be an active member of course/subject teams and attend Directorate and College meetings, as required
- D32/33 A1 or equivalent
- Level 3 or equivalent Qualification in Plumbing and Gas
- Maths & English Level 2 or equivalent or willing to work towards
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and learning on Plumbing and Domestic Heating Apprenticeships
- Possess sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist knowledge and trade experience of Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Appropriate knowledge of NVQ Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Experience in Assessing competency-based learning
