Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the seamless interoperability of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) with our Auto Configuration Server (ACS). The role involves developing and executing manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and drive product quality. Responsibilities : 1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. 2. Create clear documentation, including user manuals and API documentation. 3. Design and run tests to ensure software behaves as expected. 4. Provide detailed reports on test results and estimate time/effort for tasks. 5. Configure test environments and automate repetitive tasks. 6. Collaborate with Engineering and Consulting teams to resolve issues. 7. Handle multiple projects, debugging and reproducing issues as needed. 8. Contribute to team and company goals with additional tasks. Minimum Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 2. 3 years of professional software testing experience. 3. Knowledge of TCP/IP, Unix/Linux environments, and API testing (JSON, SOAP, REST). 4. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem.solving skills. 5. Experience with JIRA, RTC, Salesforce, and SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). 7. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English. Preferred Qualifications : 1. Experience with TR.069/TR.369, IoT solutions, or CMTS/DOCSIS. 2. Scripting experience (Perl, Python, Shell). 3. Knowledge of performance testing and Linux networking. (ref:hirist.tech)
