Neokred - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Regression Testing

The company builds Consumer Tech for Financial Infrastructure stack to provide curated versions of embedded banking in the payment ecosystem. We've created a platform which enables Corporates, Banks, FinTechs, Retail Companies, and Start-ups to launch their own banking services or financial products, such as payment solutions, facilitating lending, virtual bank accounts, KYC and digital profiling for their customers or employees with the help of low code plug and play technology stack. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Tester (UPI Switch) to join our team for a critical banking project. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QA methodologies, financial systems, and experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our banking platform through rigorous testing processes and adherence to compliance standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure quality software delivery. - Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing for banking applications. - Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. - Conduct API testing, UI testing, and database validation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and quality. - Ensure adherence to banking regulatory standards and compliance requirements throughout the testing lifecycle. - Utilize automation tools to improve test coverage, efficiency, and speed. - Track and report on testing progress, defect metrics, and test coverage. - Mentor and guide junior QA team members to foster growth and maintain high-quality standards. YOU SHOULD POSSESS : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on banking or financial systems. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with automation tools like Selenium, JIRA, or similar. - Proficiency in API testing, SQL, and database validation. - Familiarity with banking regulatory requirements and security standards. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Experience with mobile banking applications. - Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure. - Certification in ISTQB or similar QA certifications. - Prior Work Experience in any of the NPCI projects.
