Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Primary School teacher to work in a Primary School in the centre of Cardiff. The successful candidate will be confident leading and preparing engaging lessons that are in line with the school’s curriculum, as well as ensuring the classroom is a positive and welcoming learning environment for the children.
About the Role:
Location – Cardiff
Pay - £157.66
Start Date – November 2024
Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities available
The ideal teacher will be ambitious and passionate about working with children with the focus on developing the progression of the class. There may be an opportunity to work across the Foundation Phase or KS2 classes, and experience teaching is desirable for the position. Some schools in the Cardiff area will also have many pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), therefore the ideal candidate will have the ability to adjust to the needs of the children and provide extra support where necessary. The school will also provide feedback and support, with the possibility of positions extending for the full Academic Year ending in July 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that are in line with the curriculum
Provide support to all children in the class, with the ability to adjust to any individual needs
Contribute to the wider school environment, working collaboratively with other teachers and support staff
Establish positive relationships with the parents and continue to develop the children’s progression
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS (Child Only) Certificate
EWC Registration (mandatory in Wales)
Commitment to continuous professional development
