Catering Assistant

We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Catering Assistants to join our team at Salisbury Cathedral at part-time basis (including some weekends). This is an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who enjoys customer service, working in fast paced environment, all at this unique venue.

Duties/Tasks:

- Previous experience in catering/retail/customer service

- To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times

- To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations

- To maximize all sales opportunities through selling techniques

- To accept payment and give change to customers, including operating a till

- To acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise individual customers on their product choice

- To actively gain customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager.

Ideal candidates must be:

- Nice, friendly and customer focused

- Passionate

- Enthusiastic

- Like working as part of a team

Barista experience would be beneficial for this role.
