Job Description
We are seeking a Paralegal on a 6-month temporary basis in Maidstone. This role is Monday to Friday 37hrs per week.
Duties will include:
Assisting the team on matters including research, project support and case management encompassing a range of regulatory and criminal issues. The work will be both contentious and non-contentious in its nature.
Some opportunity to potentially develop court experience assisting fee earners at inquests and trails or other court hearings.
Opportunity to develop experience at all stages of a regulatory matter from initial incident through to conclusion of prosecution.
Preparation of paper work for cases for court bundles, instructions to counsel and expert, assisting fee earners in the arrangement of hearings, conferences and the instruction of experts.
Keep diaries and case management systems up to date
Handle confidential informational
We are looking for someone with:
Paralegal experience, preferably regulatory/criminal work
Excellent research skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience using case management systems
Meet and exceed budgetary requirements in terms of both time and fee income
Proactive approach to identifying issues and solving problems
Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
Quality and customer service oriented with an eye for detail and accuracy.
IT literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel.
This role pays £18.82ph - £20.20ph
