Location- Covering the Northern Region
Are you an experienced business development professional with a passion for driving new business ? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our bus and coach business.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, leveraging your expertise to secure new business opportunities and build lasting relationships with key public sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand business opportunities within the Bus and Coach public sector, executing sales strategies effectively.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring top-tier customer service.
- Identify and follow up on new business prospects, both internally and externally.
- Understand various funding options related to the ownership and usage of equipment.
- Have a deep knowledge of the NHS and public sector, enabling you to excel in this challenging role.
- Develop positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
- Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets.
- Oversee project implementation and attend regular business meetings.
- Identify improvement areas to enhance business performance.
- Deliver impactful presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of underwriting, pricing techniques, and sales strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the UK broker market, financial models, and compliance regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the public sector.
- Ability to pursue and cultivate contacts for future business opportunities.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Extensive knowledge of CRM systems and sales databases.
- Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the sector.

- Sales-driven, self-motivated, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a team player with the ability to work independently.
