Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Scunthorpe

Salary: £13-£14 per hour

Hours: 5am to 1pm Mon-Fri (plus overtime when required)

Job Description:

As a delivery driver you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations. Your key duties will include:

Delivery Duties:

• Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
• Ensuring proof of delivery documents are signed, dated & returned.
• Checking the load & weight distribution according to the latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift
• Ensuring vehicles are maintained to Company standards
• Limited manual handling within company guidelines
• Adhering to exacting health & safety standards at all times
• You may be required to work nights out as and when required

Requirements:

• Experience in warehousing or distribution
• Understanding & experience of EHS requirements
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (with no more than 6 points)
• Own a Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card with knowledge of working time directive
