HGV II Driver

Our client is looking for a professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join them on a permanent basis.

Location Markfield

Pay Rate - £13ph

You must have a minimum of one years experience (no new passes) required.

You will be delivering palletised sheet steel throughout the UK. Within this role nights out are required and up to 3 per week if needed.

MUST

• Must be prepared to do night outs (depending on the needs of business could be up to 3per week)
• Responsible for load security, must have knowledge of chaining or strapping
• A clean driving licence /CPC up to date
• Excellent customer service skills
• Responsible for load, ensuring it is safe and secure for delivery
• Legal obligations in terms of Drivers Hours and Working Time and to drive within all rules, legislation and regulations in force.
• To Carry out daily vehicle checks and report immediately any defects.
• To promote a positive company image with our customers
