Good Place Lettings Property AdvisorSalary: £40k +Benefits: Pension & 22 days holiday per year + Bank holidays and birthday day off.Contract: Full-time & Permanent (Monday Friday with some flexibility in working hours)Reporting to: DirectorLocation: 78 Quaker Street, Shoreditch, E1 6SW
Good Place Lettings is an exciting new social enterprise lettings agency, developed by Homes for Good and Crisis. It is based on the award-winning Homes for Good model, with profits reinvested into supporting people experiencing homelessness and on low incomes to find good quality, affordable homes in London.
We are now looking to appoint a dynamic individual to join our team as a Property Advisor. A blend of the traditional Negotiator and Property Manager roles, you will be the go-to person for all aspects of your portfolio from start to finish. As one of the first key hires for this exciting new company, you will be an integral part of the business succeeding.

Key ResponsibilitiesA background in the PRS will be essential, with previous experience within property management being helpful. You will need to provide great customer service to your landlords and tenants alike as well as:Managing Your Portfolio
Marketing and listing propertiesViewings and property visitsChecking all compliance is up to dateCompleting inventory checks and moving in new tenantsDrawing up check-out reports and organising deposit releaseMove In Process
Seamless communication so the process runs smoothlyOrganising any requests for the tenancy prior to move dateReferencing all applicantsDrawing up paperwork and handling move-in moniesAttending key handover and walk through property with new tenant
Property Works
Being available for calls and emails when repairs are requiredSpeaking with contractors to book in the repairUpdating landlords and tenants on progress and costsEnsuring work is completed and exceeds all minimum standards
Business Development
Following up on new opportunitiesKeeping an eye on the portal for stock that would suit our applicantsPromoting Good Place Lettings through social media channelsSpending time talking and integrating with the local community
Social Media
Understanding our marketing strategy to keep channels updatedEngaging with local business to help promote Good Place LettingsUpdating Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn when requiredSeeking new partnership opportunities within these platforms
Skills Required
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, both verbally & in writingDemonstrable ability to remain calm in complex scenarios & build positive relationships with tenants & landlordsAbility to manage and prioritise own workload and be responsive to the needs of your portfolio, including responding to urgent tasks at short noticeWillingness to go the extra mile, and to always do the right thing
Experience Required
Previous experience in the lettings marketProven knowledge & understanding of the private rented housing sectorConfident with compliance requirements for a tenant to move-inA PRS letting agency qualification is preferable but not essential
