Food Production Operative

We are looking for experienced food production operatives to work for our client based in Whitefield

The company itself are one of the leading producers of pork and beef products across the world.

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday – 07:00 – 16:30 & Friday 07:00 – 15:30 (42.75 hours per week)

Pay:

£12.00/hr standard rate for any hours worked between Mon and Sat (up to 42.75hrs)

£18.00/hr overtime rate for any hours worked between Mon and Sat (over 42.75hrs)

£24.00/hr overtime rate for any hours worked on Sun

Candidate duties:

• Processing and packing pork and beef products
• Order picking - single or bulk picks
• Hygiene work - Unassembled machinery to clean and reassemble
• Light butchery work- cutting and trimming pork and beef cuts

Candidate profile:

• Have previous experience working with food or comfortable to do so
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment (up to 5 degrees)
• Be able to work as part of a team or on your own
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Willing to learn

Please note this is a temporary position but can lead to a permanent role for the right candidate after the completion of 12 weeks. The positions available are long term and this is why the company will invest a lot in training you once you start.
