Production Operative

WHAT YOU DO

• Operating and maintaining the plants machinery
• Monitoring stock levels and liasing with the production supervision team to highlight any stock level concerns
• Maintaining a flexible approach to work to meet team-based plant requirements
• Observing and maintaining safety levels with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment
• Undertaking training as required by the company
• Maintaining a strict level of hygiene in and around the plant machinery
• Liasing and coordinating with all departments to ensure no machinery breakdowns

WHO YOU ARE

• At least 1-year experience within a similar role
• Experience in a Bottling line machinery would be preferred
• Previous experience of operating filler and / or labelling equipment is desirable.
• Previous shift work experience
• A UK food standard qualification and or certification is desirable but not essential
• Good verbal and written communication as well as Problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Working time: 39 hours per week // 3-shift pattern, 6-2, 2-10, 10-6
• Basic hourly rate: £13,50 + 18% Shift Premium
