Location: Hinkley Point C

We're looking for a skilled Temporary Works Designer to join our team at Hinkley Point C, the first new-build nuclear power station in decades. In this pivotal role, you'll contribute to the UK's NetZero goals, developing and verifying temporary works designs that meet the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Develop & Verify Designs: Create temporary works designs that comply with BS 5975: 2019 and exceed safety and quality benchmarks.
Structural Analysis: Conduct detailed stress calculations and load assessments to ensure the structural integrity of all temporary works.
Ensure Compliance: Adhere to CDM Regulations 2015 and industry standards, keeping safety at the forefront.
Collaborate Closely: Partner with project teams to develop design briefs and confirm design competence.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Extensive experience in temporary works design, ideally on large-scale engineering projects.
Expertise: Strong proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, and Tekla.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, plus Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) Engineer status.Desirable: Familiarity with the Hinkley Point C site and Confined Spaces certification.
