Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for a Supply Chain Planner / Supply Demand Planner to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!
Benefits
- Salary – £27,000 to £32,000 per annum
- Hours – Monday to Friday – 09:00am to 17:00pm (30 Minute lunch)

Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse and monitor the sales forecasts at customer and product level.
- Identify inconsistencies in actual demand against planned demand and update the forecasts to mitigate shortages and overstocks.
- Monitor stock inventory and place purchase orders with suppliers to maintain required stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics and shipping agents to ensure purchase orders are delivered on schedule.
- Support Warehouse and Sales teams in delivering 100% order fulfilment.
- Should overstock occur, liaise with the Sales team to develop a sales plan.
- Provide regular feedback to Sales, Procurement, and Inventory teams on stock shortages and excess stock.
- Manage day-to-day communication with the stock control team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years Supply & Demand experience, including forecasting and supplier scheduling.
- Sales & Operations planning experience.
- Proficient with MS Excel; VLookups & Pivot tables.
- Problem solving skills with an ability to provide solutions to management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
