Make a real impact on a manufacturing business by implementing operational improvements, as the Warehouse Manager, which will take them to the next level.

As Warehouse Operations and Inventory Manager for a manufacturing business you’ll report directly into the General Manger.

This newly created role offers you the opportunity to work in a business that is going through a period of growth. They are an established business who have a number of sites in the UK along with a strong global presence.

The products that they produce are unique and are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology systems, they supply a range of premium customers across a number of sectors that are located around the world.

This role will suit a professional who has worked in a Warehouse / Despatch / Operations Manager role or similar for a UK food manufacturer or a FMCG manufacturing business.

Day-to-day you’ll coordinate and manage the goods inwards, despatch, and logistics activities. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, despatching, and assuring quality of goods.

To qualify for consideration, you’ll need:

• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practice
• Health and safety knowledge
• Knowledge and experience of MRP and ERP systems
• Positive attitude with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead teams
• The ability to think critically and prioritise workloads effectively
• To be confident in liaising and working with multiple teams
• To be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent numerical and organisation skills
