Job Description

Rapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Nottingham who are looking for 7 Class 1 drivers to join them on an ongoing basis

Role:Class 1 Driver
Hours: 4am starts
Ideal shift patterns:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime and weekends available

Basic hourly rate:£16.30 per hour
Overtime pay:£23.63 after 45 hours.
Minimum 8 hours paid.

Breaks: 45 mins unpaid

Role to include, and not limited to:
  • Transporting high value goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  • Always provide exceptional customer service.
  • Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving
The recruitment process will involve an initial assesment which inludes, classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assesment. This is then followed by full induction.
  • Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Minimum of 6 monthd continuous Class 1 driving
  • Due to the product being carried you will be required to undergo a DBS check and also have no CCJ's
