About the Role

This is an exciting role that offers variety and opportunities for professional development. You will join a friendly and high performing Income Management team providing a high-quality, customer-focused service aimed at recovering former tenant arrears. Your primary responsibility will be pursuing the recovery of all debts promptly, this will include but is not limited to rent arrears, service charges, garages, recharges and other debts owed..

You will maximise income by efficiently handling various debts, including rent and service charges, whilst delivering excellent customer service. This includes offering guidance on debt management and financial well-being. A strong customer focus and a willingness to go the extra mile to reflect our organisational values are essential.

Additionally, you will prepare information and occasionally present at court, demonstrating your ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines and challenging targets. Your contributions will support our goal of reducing overall debt within the organisation.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload but also work within a team and have a genuine passion for driving income collection and resolve outstanding issues, whilst having excellent communications skills with the ability to adapt their style to deal with sensitive queries.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in debt recovery or a related debt management role
  • Strong communication skills
  • A willingness to develop into the role
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of the MS Office package
  • A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
