Job Description
Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer required to join a global, market leading engineering manufacturer based in York.
The successful Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer shall be responsible for technical sales, advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals and other aspects of customer service for technical measurement equipment & associated instrumentation products and solutions.
The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Applications Engineer will ideally have a strong technical engineering background, ideally in process instrumentation, mechanical sales or a mechanical degree with a willingness to progress in to sales. Full product training is provided.
Package
£30,000-£40,000 depending on experience.

Pension Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer Role
Give technical advice and guidance on correct technical solution and product selection as per customers’ needs.
Generate & provide quotations & proposals of measurement equipment & associated instrumentation products to customers.
Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations.
Product specification for various measurement equipment plus after sales and service support.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Commutable to the office daily in York.Sales Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer Requirements
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor, Applications Engineer or similar having sold a technical engineering product or solution.
Strong technical education with proven sales experience in process instrumentation is preferred.
Primarily technical background with some initial sales experience, demonstrating aptitude and interest in sales.
Service Engineers with measurement / instrumentation experience looking to come off the tools and move into a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
Technical mechanical engineering qualification or technical degree is advantageous.
Must be commutable to York or willing to re locate
