Audio Visual Sales Account Manager

Job Description
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual salesperson to join a leading integrator in their London office.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of customers and be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing existing accounts and hunting for new accounts to drive revenue and increase our client's market share.
The role is responsible for implementing short and longer-term sales/revenue strategies and developing ongoing profitable relationships with Corporate and Enterprise customers. Achieving this through ongoing review of effectiveness with current sales programmes, both domestic and international. Additionally, you will recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and future sales potential.
Key Job Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop account plans designed to increase revenue whilst managing compliance, profitability, and revenue channel development.
Working in collaboration with the Operations and Engineering Product teams to deliver immediate and longer-term profitable revenues.
Qualify and quantify the customers holistic needs in AV, Event Technology, Production, Creative, Digital and all technical event needs.
Act as the key contact for managed clients, understand customers' needs and goals, and create and execute a strategy that aligns our clients resources and solutions that solve customer needs.
Create and execute plans to further penetrate the accounts. This includes building on contact surface, securing customer appointments, and executing sales calls, customer business reviews, and strategic action plans to identify and secure both short and long-term revenue opportunities.
Understand industry trends, and build a network that continues to establish credibility, rapport, and opportunities to engage customers.
Ensure each account shows consistent progress, moving from vendor status through desired role of trusted advisor and moving up the buy/sell hierarchy by consistently establishing and delivering on our client's Core Value Proposition.
Provide input into Marketing team for delivery of timely collateral and associated materials to the business.
Attending industry vendor events to obtain information that is formally shared with the wider company to support sales goals.
Implementation of client onboarding and assistance with invoicing and collections
Operational and Technical Support
Communicate the technical needs of each programme effectively to clients and internal partners.
Review quotes to ensure compliance with our client's Policies.
Understand product offerings, and servicing divisions and communicate the customers' needs cross functionally.
Partner closely with operations and production team members as part of a client services team to maximise client satisfaction, ensure quality event delivery and event profitability.
Based in Greater London/Home Counties salary doe circa £50k-£60k plus bonuses and benefits.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have a minimum 3-5 years successful sales and business development experience in AV, UC, Events or a related Industry
You will have proven ability to communicate in a professional, confident, and knowledgeable way.
You will have:
Excellent customer service skills.
The ability to create technically and/or logistically complex proposals.
Be able to create and execute a strategic customised account plan.
Experience in networking targeted customers at industry events
Experience working within a team environment to over-deliver on desired results.
Experience with contract negotiations and the ability to successfully navigate complex organisations.
Experience with the use of CRM
A very strong focus on achieving financial targets.
Strong written and oral communication skills needed to draft sales presentations, and effectively obtain business via phone and face to face customer contact.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
In depth understanding of the modern workspace, AV and UC collaboration industry.
Previous experience selling related technical solutions and services into Corporate, Enterprise and Government both direct and through Partners.
Educated to degree standard would be desirable.
