The Sustainability Manager - Scope 3 (3 Month FTC) role plays a crucial role in designing and delivering Vodafone UK's scope 3 strategy and emission reduction activity, in line with our existing net zero targets. Key accountabilities for this role include:

What you'll do
The Sustainability Manager - Scope 3 (3 Month FTC) role plays a crucial role in designing and delivering Vodafone UK's scope 3 strategy and emission reduction activity, in line with our existing net zero targets. Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Delivering subject matter expertise on scope 3, such as carbon accounting, emissions reduction strategies, insetting and offsetting approaches, LCAs and PEFs
- Developing and implementing strategies to reduce Scope 3 emissions in line with Vodafone UK's existing net zero targets
- Leading the development of strategic emissions reduction activity and build capability across key business functions (e.g. Senior Leadership, Procurement, Networks, Finance and Commercial)
- Providing strategic input to continuously improve our scope 3 reporting frameworks and data collection approach
- Collaborating with strategic suppliers and external partners to identify and execute emissions reduction opportunities throughout the value chain
- Providing expert guidance on tools and solutions to support B2B customers achieve their net zero targets
Who you are
- Proven experience in developing scope 3 strategies and integrating emissions reduction activity across large, complex organisations
- Experience of managing projects and delivering effective business cases to drive emission reduction activity across relevant business functions
- Strong analytical skills to manage, interpret and visualise data related to scope 3 emissions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders and build capability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners to drive emissions reduction activity throughout the value chain
- An organised self-starter with high levels of motivation and resilience to work across a large, complex environment
