Job Description
Driver / Warehouseman / Labourer
* Clean UK driving license and current FLT counterbalance essential.
* General stock replenishment around the factory in the mornings. Making sure raw materials, packaging and goods are in correct place for operations and production to run smoothly for the day.
* Empty any swarf bins into correct scrap skips. Empty laser skeletons. Empty any general waste bins requiring emptying.
* Checking yard and shop floor are free from rubbish and clean.
* Daily checks on fork lift trucks and works vehicles before use, reporting to management any issues. Regular cleaning of works vehicles.
* Taking charge of goods in and out processes whilst being on site – answering door when deliveries arrive, loading and unloading goods where required, always cross-referencing paperwork with actual goods and checking for correct sign off of notes for accounting.
* General packing and arranging of goods ready for delivery.
* Loading of our own vehicle and strapping ready for you to deliver.
* Driving our long wheel base van to various delivery/collections locations mainly based in the midlands.
* Liaising with management team to gain itinerary for the days required tasks to be completed.
* General cleaning and maintenance of shop floor and machinery when quiet.
* Immediate start available, permanent after mandatory 13-week probation. Employed directly.
Rate £12.00 + negotiable
42 hours paid weekly
