Are you a Controls Engineer from a material handling/cargo lifts background looking to be recognised as the go-to technical specialist working on a range of material handling and lifting equipment within Heathrow Airport?

In this days-based role you will be working on industrial lifting and material handling equipment, including conveyors, motors, and relays for example, with a heavy emphasis on PLCs and software related issues. You will be working days however there will need to be flexibility for an occasional night shift paid at a premium, roughly once a fortnight if needed.

The majority of this role will be based at Heathrow Airport (90%) with some travel to other airports required.

This role would suit a Controls Engineer looking to join an established, reputable company offering a technically challenging and varied role working primarily within Heathrow Airport.

The Role:

• Working on controls for cargo handling equipment
• Editing PLCs, reviewing electrical schematics, and solving software issues
• 90% based in Heathrow Airport, some travel to other airports required
• Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:30am start, 3:30/4:30pm finish, flexibility to work occasional nights
• Overtime paid at 1.3x, weekends 1.5x

• Controls Engineer
• Experience working on material handling / cargo lifts
• Full UK driving license
