Camp Horseshoe, one of Wisconsin's premier residential camps, is a spirited, sports-oriented boys camp that emphasizes participation, healthy competition, and a well-rounded summer experience.
Camp Horseshoe is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, meaningful traditions, and unique philosophy. Whether it be coaching athletics, or leading one of our wilderness trips, the opportunities to have an impact on a boy's life are tremendous. Our campers and staff call the Horseshoe experience “amazing”, “indescribable” and “the best place on earth.” Our staff of 100+ provide a safe, fun, and rewarding experience for our camper’s ages 8-16. Working at Horseshoe offers the opportunity to make lifelong friends from across the nation and throughout the world.
We are currently seeking a talented photographer to join our counselor team this summer.
Photographer Responsibilities Include:
- Take daily photos of campers, activities, and programs throughout the summer.
- Upload daily and weekly photo highlights to the shared camp folder.
- Create new ways for Horseshoe to market themselves through social media and other platforms.
- Work alongside the administrative team as well as the videographer to create new ideas for the Horseshoe creative team.
- Maintain a high level of photography per day and hit a required number of photos taken per day.
- Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Proficient with Social Media platforms
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with kids.
- Previous media and working with kids experience is a plus but not necessary.
