ROLE: MS Dynamics Developer
LOCATION: San Dimas, CA (candidates must be local in the commutable area)
RATE: $70 per hour C2C all inclusive
ONSITE/HYBRID/REMOTE: This role is onsite for the first 90 days at which point their ability to go hybrid will be evaluated
CONTRACT: this is a contract to hire position, conversion may occur anywhere between 6 and 18 months
VISA RESTRICTIONS: Candidates must be hirable without sponsorship, so USC and GC only please.
DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the data science team, the Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer will utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets, then use this information to develop data-driven solutions. Leveraging NLP experience, along with experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), this role will serve as a subject matter expert for NLP/Machine Learning/AI, and will collaborate with functional experts across QTC to expand the NLP Project to provide big data solutions in other key operational areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; continuously improve automating index process solution for Medical Records team and NLP-indexed medical records to Providers
• Design and develop NLP Project applications through collaboration of user design specifications, user stories and Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Consult with users, product marketing, and product management to determine software/system functionality and scope of technical specification document (TSD)
• Architect and design state-of-the-art solutions for large data sets
• Provide expert advice and consulting in maintenance and enhancement of existing code within high transaction volume / highly availability environment
• Unit test developed code
• Code deployment as required and compilation of deployment guide for promotion of code from Dev, QA, Training, and Production environments
• Assume development lead role for large projects
• Use discretion and expert judgment to establish level of effort for development activities
• Identify development tasks and track progress against project plans utilizing TFS or other SDLC management tools
• Assess new technologies relevant to company business, evaluate benefits and outline presentation of new innovations to meet business objectives
• Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, Developers, DBAs, Configuration Management and QA team
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to lead projects and development activities across product-lines

• Proficient in statistics and machine learning, coding language of Python, database data mining, and AI
• Must be knowledgeable of SDLC processes and tools (e.g. Microsoft Team Foundation)
• Working knowledge of development methodologies (e.g. Agile, CMMI)
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in statistics, math, or computer science, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated experience in NLP, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
• Python experience is required; .Net experience is a plus
• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
