The Extra Help Administrative Specialist II is responsible for performing a wide variety of general office duties within the Student Success Center. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Job Summary: This position is a part time/extra help position, limited to 24 hours per week. The Extra Help Administrative Specialist II is responsible for performing a wide variety of general office duties within the Student Success Center. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet walk-in students/customers with excellent customer service.
- Enter data and review for accuracy in the college's student information system.
- Assist students, when needed, with logging into the self-service system.
- Maintain office supplies and inventory.
- May be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, processing payments, maintaining staff schedules and calendars, and scheduling events.
- Provide information, assistance, and clarification to internal and external stakeholders concerning agency/institution policies and procedures.
- Assist with creating requisitions necessary for the purchasing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in a customer service position
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter; ability to perform tasks without being told.
- Familiarity with multiple computer applications/software
- Ability to work effectively with diverse audiences.
