Job Description
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst 1 will execute employee lifecycle management tasks in Summit Credit Union's applications and systems. They will help translate strategic vision into enterprise-class scalable and supportable solutions, emphasizing automation and proactive risk management. They will engage with modern identity providers and technologies such as SAML 2.0 and OIDC to minimize manual user provisioning and deprovisioning. They will work closely with the larger Information Security team to ensure IAM policies are created, implemented, and monitored.
Expected Outcomes
- Employees receive accurate and timely access to applications and systems during new hire, transfer, and departure events. Managers and other stakeholders, especially HR, feel engaged and welcomed during these events.
- New applications and systems are onboarded with an automation-first approach, maximizing supportability and scalability
- Employee and system access and authorization is monitored and reviewed, ensuring adherence to IAM and Information Security best practices (NIST/FFIEC)
- IAM-owned applications and systems remain patched, available, and secure.
- Summit employees are visible participants of credit union and information security communities.
Capability Requirements
- Associate degree in information systems, security, computer science or a related technical field of study preferred.
- 1 year or more experience in information security in a regulated industry; or combination of applicable work experience and education.
- Familiarity with IAM federation technology such as SAML 2.0, OAuth, OIDC
- Knowledge of Duo, Okta, EntraID, Active Directory and/or other IdP/MFA tools.
- Experience with operating system internals and security controls such as Linux and/or Windows.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills for professional interactions with all levels of credit union staff, as well as vendors and business partners.

- Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and /or carry up to 10 pounds.
- Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
