(KVL - Milwaukee) Audio Visual Technician (On-Call)

Job Summary:The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and striking AV equipment for various events. This includes running and taping cables, setting up speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as required. The technician must have strong technical understanding and be able to adapt to ever-changing environments. They should also possess exceptional interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to clients.Responsibilities:- Set up and operate AV equipment for events, including running and taping cables, setting up speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as needed.- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth execution of events and provide exceptional customer service to clients.- Load and unload equipment from trucks, including pushing cases, stacking/down-stacking cases, and moving gear between rooms.- Strive to remain technically adept in ever-changing environments by downloading and referencing equipment manuals as necessary.Qualifications:- Previous experience in setting up and operating AV equipment is preferred.- Strong technical understanding of AV equipment and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team and provide exceptional customer service to clients.- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading equipment.- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.Note: This position is on-call, meaning the technician will be scheduled on an as-needed basis for events. Flexibility in scheduling and availability is required.
