The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze and manage remediation of vulnerabilities on infrastructure assets Hence the core job falls into infrastructure security. The ideal candidate should have a background in infrastructure security, application security and overall knowledge in information security, basic knowledge on patch management will be an added advantage. Job Description & Responsibilities: Identify high-risk vulnerabilities and work with asset/application owners to drive remediation. Evaluate vulnerability remediation and mitigation options and provide recommendations to asset/application owners. Track high-risk vulnerabilities through remediation or mitigation including follow up with asset/application owners within defined SLAs . Escalate high-risk vulnerabilities breaching SLA Facilitate discussions around security awareness, risk acceptance and remediation, and advocacy for vulnerability management with clients and internal teams, promoting a strong security culture and adherence to best practices. Work with vendors and support teams to validate vulnerability migrations and false positives when needed. Experience Required: 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with expertise in Vulnerability Management. Hands on experience in tools like Tenable Security Centre & IO or WIZ IO or Nessus or Axonius. Experience in maintaining knowledge of the threat landscape. Experience in Creating reports and provide analysis on vulnerabilities for technical teams and leadership Knowledge of Infrastructure security, application Security & network security Experience in vulnerability and patch management (Linux and windows). Knowledge of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS, NIST NVD, EPSS, KEV). Excellent writing and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status. Education and Training Required: Bachelors Degree in information systems or equivalent experience Primary Skills: Strong analytical skills Data analysis and interpretation Documentation and process flows. Good oral/written communication skills Time management
