Program Management Lead Analyst Business Continuity Planning Position Summary: Business Continuity (BC) Planner is an individual contributor role that provides business contingency planning for the Enterprise Business Continuity Team Job Description & Responsibilities: Collaborates with Business groups to develop a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Develops Recovery Strategies in collaboration with key business leaders Develops & updates Business Contingency plans to mitigate business disruptions for the most complex recovery strategies; Provide guidance on complicated recovery plans. Gather Supplier/Vendor outage readiness data; Review Supplier/Vendor BC Plans to ensure meets criteria; Works with key business leaders or appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify gaps/risks & collaborates with gap owner(s) to drive closure of gaps & risk mitigation plans Provides overall coordination for Work Area Recovery exercises and tabletops Provides education on BC Program, Recovery Strategies & Risk Mitigation Strategies Develops & presents executive level BC Program information to Operational VPs & other leaders Engages with Crisis Management teams during a major crisis (i.e., hurricane, Operations outage); Assists with crisis management coordination Leverages tools required to support BC Has knowledge of policies & procedures to be adhered to for Business Continuity including approvals / awareness from appropriate stakeholders Provides input as needed for Audit and Proposal responses; Ensures all delegated audit responses are answered correctly and on time. Perform presentations for audits and accreditations as needed Provides project oversight to ensure Business Continuity requirements are met Experience Required: 5-8 years relevant experience Education and Training Required: Bachelors or Masters degree Certification in CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Planner) is a bonus Primary Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey plans, exercises, and activities. Analytical, highly organized, able to work with little supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and tailor communications appropriately. Effective negotiation and vendor management skills. Ability to work calmly under pressure and during crisis events. Demonstratedplanning/organizationalskills; ability to plan for both the long and short term Demonstrated ability to foster strong working relationships; demonstrates leadership within a heavily matrixed environment Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions. Familiarity with disaster recovery program life cycle (e.g., Gap/Risk Identification, BIA, Recovery Strategy, Plans, Exercise, and Education/Awareness) is essential. Additional Skills: Strong and well-developed skills in making independent decisions. Strong customer service focus. Off-hour on-call support required High flexible and adaptability are required. Must be a self-starter.
