ETL ODI Consultant - Independent Contractor/Freelancer

Job Description : - 5 years' experience in building function & store procedure using ODI tool. - Design Data warehouse table and applicable documentation. - Develop table creation scripts and execute the scripts for the Database Administrator (DBA). - Analyze data sources and determine data relationships to pair with the business requirements documentation (BRD). - Familiarity with data quality issues and Exact, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. - Design and develop Extract Load Transform (ELT) process and load data from source tables into staging tables and then into target fact and dimension tables utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - Validate data loaded into various tables utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) and other analysis. - Knowledge and understanding of the applicable tools and practices used in data governance including query and data profiling techniques. - Proven skills in data analysis - including queries to calculate data quality. -Solid written, verbal, and analytical skills. - Strong research and problem determination and solution skills. - Performed activities for development, implements, deployment, maintenance, and solution of complex custom-built requirements in ODI Packages / Project Creation of Master and Work repositories. - Development of packages to replicate data to and from heterogeneous data sources like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL server etc. - Installation and configuration of ODI. - Creation and configuration of Master and Work repositories. - Testing of packages in the development environment to assure that data is loaded as per the shared business logic/ETL specification. - Development of ODI load plans, scenarios and job scheduling through agents. - Experience in creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, Views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle. - Expertise in creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose.
