MSBI SSIS Developer - Data Engineering

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and data warehouses. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility. Key Responsibilities : Data Engineering : - Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using SSIS. - Ingest, transform, and integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and files. - Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data processing. - Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics. Data Analysis and Quality Assurance : - Analyze complex, high-volume data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. - Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation. - Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes. Collaboration : - Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other team members to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Work effectively in an Agile development environment. Tool Proficiency : - Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. - Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus. Qualifications and Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5 years of experience in data engineering and ETL processes - Hands-on experience with SSIS for data integration and transformation - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases - Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Attention to detail and commitment to data quality - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working environments (ref:hirist.tech)
