Job Description : The Kinaxis Functional Solution Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing effective supply chain management solutions on the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform. This role involves understanding customer requirements, analyzing business processes, and architecting Kinaxis solutions that optimize supply chain operations and drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities : - Provide deep functional expertise in supply chain management and the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform. - Collaborate with clients to understand their supply chain management challenges, goals, and requirements. - Design end-to-end Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions align with the client's business processes and objectives. - Analyze existing systems and data sources to identify integration points and design data flows for optimal information exchange. - Create solution architectures, including system configurations, workflows, and process models. - Understand and articulate the capabilities and limitations of Kinaxis RapidResponse to clients and internal stakeholders. - Conduct workshops and requirements gathering sessions to capture business needs and translate them into system requirements. - Develop and document functional specifications, user stories, and use cases. - Lead and guide implementation projects, ensuring the successful delivery of Kinaxis solutions within defined timelines and budgets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and project managers, to execute the solution design. - Configure and customize the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform to meet specific client requirements. - Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate solution functionality. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. - Conduct regular meetings and workshops to review project progress, address concerns, and gather feedback. - Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on industry best practices and how to leverage the Kinaxis platform effectively. - Collaborate with sales teams during pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development. - Stay updated with the latest Kinaxis product releases, features, and industry trends related to supply chain management. - Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and innovation to drive client success. - Work closely with product management and development teams to provide input on the product roadmap and new feature development. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Extensive experience in supply chain management, including demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling. - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform. - Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and best practices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions and troubleshoot issues. - Proven experience in solution design and system architecture in a complex business environment. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Certifications in Kinaxis Rapid Response are advantageous.
