Good morning, My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions. I am looking for a Tax Compliance Advisor for my client, a group in the agri-food sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hubert in hybrid mode. What does this role consist of: Prepares and ensures Canadian and American tax compliance. Collaborates with Canadian tax returns as well as all relevant information and annexes relating to it (R&D, allocations between provinces, etc.). Collaborates in the calculation of installment payments and carries assistance in the process of tax audits; Collaborates in the preparation of US tax returns as well as all relevant information relating thereto with the collaboration of the US divisions. Collaborates in the calculation of installment payments. Provides assistance in the tax audit process; Collaborates on tax provisions (tax accounting) including monthly, quarterly and annual calculations of current and deferred taxes on both the Canadian and American sides; Collaborates as needed on various special projects: structural reorganization corporate, liquidation, merger, acquisition, etc.; Collaborates in maintaining the G/L tax accounts of the head office and subsidiaries as well as their monthly reconciliation; Assists in all aspects of transfer pricing, monitoring PBR, CbCR, collaborates with the divisions for sales tax aspects and collaborates in monitoring government budgets Hold a bachelor's degree in administration combined with an accounting title; Graduate diploma in taxation or "In-Depth Tax Course" completed or in the process of being completed or equivalent, an asset; Have 2 years of experience in taxation including experience in tax accounting (accounting for current and deferred taxes); Mastery of French and English, spoken and written to communicate with our North American partners; Good knowledge of common software (MS Office) and taxes (Taxprep).
