Import Export Coordinator

Role: Multimodal Operator - Project Specialist (Oil & Gas)

Salary: circa £33,000 + bonus + benefits

Location: Aberdeen

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday (09.00 - 17:30)

Role Duties:

• Review and verify purchase order details from customers
• Provide exceptional customer service as expected of a Global Freight Forwarder
• Liaise with suppliers regarding goods readiness dates and terms of sale
• Arrange collections and deliveries of shipments
• Organise cargo packing when required
• Request, receive, and check export documents from suppliers
• Consolidate cargo for export across all modes of transport
• Book space with carriers for shipments
• Complete export and import documentation
• Maintain and update internal and external tracking systems
• Perform other duties as required for the position

Requirements:

• Understanding of international air, sea, and road freight forwarding, as well as industrial projects
• Experience with UK customs procedures
• Proficiency in French or other European languages (preferred)
• Some commercial experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with heavy sea freight and project cargo (preferred)
• Experience in onshore/offshore wind farm projects (advantageous)
• Any experience with air or sea freight charters
