Job Description

This is an opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to further their career with a leading, multi-national employer in a hybrid working role with Full time and Part time roles available.
As a Functional Specialist you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive, safe and empathetic service for the claimant.
Benefits Include:
* Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500*
+ 5% retention bonus
+ rising to 10% quality & retention bonus*
* OTE: £45,650*
* Hybrid Full time, Part time working hours available
* Training options: 12 weeks’ (full time), 14 weeks (4 days per week) & 17 weeks (3 days per week)
* 25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service

Your New Role:
* As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR).
* As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
* You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
* You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.
Requirements
* Qualified Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
* 1+ years post qualification experience.
* Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
* Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
