Job Description
ABC Teachers is recruiting an experienced Year 1 Teacher, well-versed in the Key Stage 1 curriculum, to undertake a long-term position in Wombourne, beginning in January 2025 and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.
The Role
This position involves:
Full-class teaching duties, including lesson planning, instruction, and pupil progress assessments.
Initially covering the Spring and Summer terms, with the possibility of extension.
The School
This role is based at a one-form entry school in the Wombourne area of Wolverhampton.
Requirements
To be considered for the Year 1 Teacher position, candidates must:
Have prior experience in a full-time teaching role, ideally having led a class at the start of an academic year.
Be prepared to commit to a full-time role with responsibilities for lesson planning, assessments, and parent communications.
Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant to primary education, which is essential for registration.
Possess, or be able to obtain, a DBS registered on the Update Service.
Provide relevant references from the last two years.
