Remote - Senior Construction Litigation - 9 month FTC

Exciting opportunity for a senior (minimum 6+ PQE) Construction Litigator to join this sizeable legal team to contribute advice on claims and disputes as a result of consultancy appointments.

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of dispute resolution work to include advising on payment disputes, contractual claims & operational matters through to professional negligence claims.

Supporting the UK business units, you will:

• Give legal and commercial advice on professional indemnity claims via dispute resolution processes (including mediation, adjudication, expert determinations, court proceedings & arbitration)
• Advise on contract and construction law
• Ensure corporate governance is maintained in relation to the settlement of disputes
• Manage external lawyers re initial instructions, ongoing claims, costs & strategy
• Liaise with insurance brokers
• Keep the business updated on legal developments & deliver training as appropriate

You will have strong experience of advising on construction & engineering claims and disputes and/or professional negligence claims and disputes, within construction & engineering.
