£36k- £38K plus tips
Outskirts of Colchester

An enthusiastic Head Chef is required on the outskirts of Colchester. A beautiful café style restaurant situated in the Essex countryside is looking for a talented chef. This outstanding venue is only open for Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon teas, 7am-4.30pm offering a fantastic work-life balance.

This popular venue is very popular with locals and travellers from afar, the café style restaurant has seating for just under 160 covers inside and outside. With a seasonal menu offering a wide selection of homemade favourites using local produce from neighbouring farms. Their chefs also create daily specials, allowing them to showcase their creative side.

They are seeking a talented Head Chef, who is eager to learn and grow with this family-owned business to join their close-knit brigade.

As Head Chef you will be able to demonstrate a solid background and have a flair and originality to bring to the team as well as having a strong fresh food background and a desire to further develop your skills.

This position will suit someone who is looking for a better work life balance, as you will only be required to work 7am-4pm.

The current brigade stands at 4 chefs, 2 Kitchen assistants and 1 KP in total.

The location is accessible by public transport or car parking Is available on site.

They are closed Christmas Day, New years Day and Easter Sunday throughout the year
