Job Description
Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Swadlincote for experienced Laser Machine Operative to join their expanding team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
Our client is a division of Europe’s largest manufacturer within their industry and due to expansion, it’s never been a better time to join their friendly team. Our client is looking for one machine operative to work a consistent day shift and one machine operative to work a consistent night shift.

Laser Machine Operative Benefits;
* £13.50-£14.11 per hour
* Afternoon shift Monday to Thursday 2pm-10:30pm &Friday 2-8pm
* 24 days holiday per year + bank holidays after 12 weeks
* Paid overtime after 37.5 hours – weekly overtime 1.33 & weekend overtime 1.5

Laser Machine Operative Job Details;
* Daily maintenance of machinery and pre-use checks
* Use of production software
* Fibre Laser operation
* FLT Operation
* Checking parts against drawings and segregating cut parts into correct packs
* Read and follow drawings
* Weekly machine clean downs
Laser Machine Operative Person Specification;
* Bystronic Laser experience is preferred
* Strong attention to detail is essential
* Ability to use basic computer functions and the use of measuring equipment such as micrometre/Vernier calliper
* Ability to read technical drawings is desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate
