Location - Onsite, Watford

The Job
The Onsite Senior AV Technician role is identified as a Tier 2 position intended to provide diagnostic troubleshooting and problem resolution for all possible system failures. In addition, the Onsite Senior Technician will perform preventive maintenance checks and services to maintain peak operating performance in full alignment with the original system design and manufacturer’s specifications.
At a minimum, the Onsite Maintenance Technician will accomplish the following tasks as part of their responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to end users in the operation of the AV/UC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/UC systems.
- Perform maintenance support on all AV/UC systems including basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation.
- Provide setup and operational support for events.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Work a flexible schedule as required by the Customer.
- Perform service troubleshooting and maintenance support on AV/UC systems.
- Set up and monitor video calls as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelines.
- Track all maintenance activity from start to finish with proper documentation as required.
- Coordinate RMA processing and parts procurement as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory on all AV/UC systems including spares as require.
- Remotely monitor all Mersive screen share devices (with other onsite Technicians).
- For local Mersive devices, handle device replacement as needed.
- For sites with no OMS support, open a ticket with the help desk for device replacement.
- Monitor legacy Digital Signage devices at all sites using existing tools.
- For local signage devices, handle device replacement as needed.
- For sites with no OMS, handle device replacement as needed.

- Experience providing support to and actively engaging with senior and C-level staff in a
- similar role.
- Accurately take measurements and capture data for new installations.
- Technical skills around video conferencing, hybrid work technologies, digital signage.
- and general AV and collaboration technologies..
- Hold knowledge of hardware and software solutions relating to audio-visual solutions.
- The use of Microsoft Office apps and project management tools.
