Sub Agent - Highways Project - Cambridge
A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to join our team working on a major highway project in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the project manager in the successful delivery of this vital infrastructure project.
About the Role:
As Sub Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:
Site Management: Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, safety protocols, and deadlines.
Subcontractor Management: Liaising with subcontractors, ensuring they understand project requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
Quality Control: Monitoring and inspecting the work of subcontractors to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
Safety Management: Assisting in implementing and enforcing safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Progress Reporting: Providing regular updates to the Project Manager on the progress of the project, identifying any potential challenges or delays.
Communication and Coordination: Maintaining clear communication with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed and aligned.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven Experience: You possess a minimum of [Number] years of experience as a Sub Agent or Site Agent in the highways sector, with a proven track record of supporting the successful delivery of roadworks projects.
Technical Expertise: You have a strong understanding of highway design, construction, and maintenance techniques, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
