Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to strengthen the engineering delivery aligned to a key corporate banking account by recruiting a Technical Lead to spearhead M&E maintenance on the client's UK HQ site in Broadgate, while offering support to 5 smaller satellite buildings.


Coming in, you will lead the strong and capable engineering team in place which consists of Shift Engineers, Supervisors, Electrical and Mechanical APs plus an Engineering Manager.


The site itself on Broadgate is complex and highly critical, with complex technical systems in place, across LV, HV and HVAC, and enjoys a high foot fall of approx 4000 people per day. The client are also often on site, and so this role will have customer facing responsibilities, as the face of the Technical Service they are paying for.


This is a fantastic role for an ambitious Engineering Manager to join a global account, with a high level of technical sophistication, a strong engineering team, working for a world renowned FM Company.


Actions will include:

  • Leading the development of infrastructure management, engineering, and hard facilities management services across the portfolio
  • Continuous review of the current operating solution and propose changes that would provide a more proactive and efficient operating model.
  • Developing policy, strategy and best practice to ensure site is fit for purpose, of appropriate condition and functional suitability to support operational excellence
  • Prioritising investments to providing legal and regulatory compliance and meeting other relevant institutional priorities including cost effectiveness and environmental sustainability.
  • Risk management and Critical incident response across the infrastructure portfolio
  • Establish a pipeline of Life Cycle replacement projects in line with available budgets available, ensuring project briefs are defined and funding identified.
  • In Collaboration with Client Lead the development of infrastructure strategy Review
  • Ensuring the most efficient and cost effective models for delivery of Infrastructure services at the site, whilst meeting statutory and regulatory compliance requirements and institutional objectives including high levels of customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Key Contractual Deliverables / policies in support of the Operational Engineering Compliance including Finance and Procurement where works are procured and managed.
