Company Overview:

Our client is a leading provider of electrical services, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of sectors, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings. They are looking for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join their team and support their growing portfolio of projects.
Position: Electrician
Location: Chester
Salary: £39,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Van: Company van included
Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various sectors, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings.
* Carry out electrical testing and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, sockets, circuits, and wiring, in complex environments.
* Diagnose electrical faults and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime in critical environments such as hospitals and schools.
* Work independently or as part of a team to complete electrical projects, ensuring they are completed to specification and within budget.
* Follow strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, particularly in high-traffic or high-risk areas such as hospitals and universities.
* Complete accurate documentation, including job sheets, inspection reports, and certification for work carried out.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and ensuring their satisfaction with all work completed.
* Keep up to date with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices, particularly as they relate to electrical systems in public and commercial buildings.
Requirements:
* ECS Gold Card required (Electrician Certification Scheme).
* Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong background in electrical work in schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings.
* Full understanding of electrical systems, wiring regulations (18th Edition), and health & safety standards.
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage your time effectively, especially in environments with high foot traffic or operational demands.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle urgent situations in critical settings (e.g., hospitals).
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and management effectively.
* Full UK driving license, as the role involves driving the company van to various sites across Chester and surrounding areas.
Salary and Benefits:
