Unit Manager / Clinical Lead Nurse ( RMN )
Salary - £40,300 - £46,000 per annum
Location - Blackburn
Hours - Permanent - Full Time or Part Time hours available
Shift Pattern - Days only, Nights only or mixed shifts available
Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. Together we are seeking a senior experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or a senior experienced Registered learning Disabilities Nurse ( RNLD ) for a 10 bed CAMHS service that specialises in supporting children aged 13 - 18 with mental health problems, located in Blackburn, close to Preston. Some children in this service will be presenting with extreme risks that can include suicidal thoughts or actions, self-harming, fire-setting, and various other offending behaviours.
As a Clinical Lead ( RMN ) or ( RNLD ) you will ensure 13 - 18 year olds in this service receive high-quality care, and be able to show strong leadership skills for other members of the team, supporting them and guiding them.
Requirements
A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN ) or ( RNLD )
A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
A minimum of 2 years of CAMHS or mental health experience as a nurse, in the UK
The ability to lead a team unsupervised
Strong team-working and leadership skills
A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
