Job Description
Our client, a leading community sports club near Woking, Surrey is seeking a dedicated Chef to join their team.
The successful Chef will be responsible for preparing meals for the club's players/customers, ensuring high-quality meals for up to 200 people.
This Chef position offers a good salary of £30K for 35 hours per week. Part time hours would be considered if required.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Chef you will:
*Prepare meals (lunch and dinner) for 200 players
*Manage food labelling, allergen information, and food storage
*Assist with food ordering and maintaining stock levels
*Work closely with the Clubhouse Manager for efficient meal service
The ideal Lead Chef will have:
*Similar experience as a Chef, cook, lead chef, sous chef or similar is essential
*A valid Food Safety certification
*Strong knowledge of allergens, labelling, and food storage practices
*Confidence in food ordering and stock management
*Own transportation is highly recommended due to the club's location
Working Hours
*35 hours per week, with potential flexibility to work 25 hours if the candidate required
*Typical shifts may vary (examples: 8am-2pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm) No Late nights!
*5/7 days per week
