Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join our clients team. As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects.
You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop detailed architectural drawings and schematics
* Utilise software such as Grasshopper, Rhinoceros 3D, CAD, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to create accurate and precise designs
* Assist in the development of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
* Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
* Perform calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
* Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain necessary materials and equipment for construction projects
* Review project specifications and make recommendations for improvements or modifications
* Provide technical support to junior architectural technicians as needed
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture
* Proven experience as a Senior Architectural Technician within the residential sector
* Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and practices
* Proficiency in software such as Grasshopper, Rhinoceros 3D, CAD, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks
* Excellent graphic design skills with the ability to create visually appealing presentations
