Nursery Teacher (Maternity Cover) - January Start
Position: Nursery Teacher
Location: Walsall
Contract: Temporary (1 year, Maternity Cover)
Pay: Starting from £145/day for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and £160/day for qualified candidates outside of ECT period.
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to work at an ofsted rated 'Good' school based in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for KS1-aged children.
Support the social, emotional, and educational development of all children in your care.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and the wider school team to ensure each child’s needs are met.
Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback on children's development.
Support children with special educational needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS/KS1
A passion for early childhood education and child development.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently.
Knowledge of KS1 framework.
Previous experience in a KS1 or early years setting is essential.
