Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher)
Location: Secondary Schools across Bolton, Wigan and Warrington - depending on preference!
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Teaching Personnel are looking for motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, supporting secondary schools in Bolton, Wigan and Warrington
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your skills, and play a key role in students' learning journeys.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering set lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
Provide support to teachers and other school staff, assisting with planning and preparation where required.
Work flexibly across a range of subjects, gaining insight into different areas of the curriculum.
Foster strong relationships with students, motivating and encouraging them to achieve their best.
Requirements:
Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-focused setting.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference.
A degree is desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds and experience levels.
Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
