What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including managing challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.
Using Team Teach strategies to de-escalate situations and maintain a safe environment.
Building positive relationships with pupils, acting as a trusted role model, and promoting positive behaviour.
Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring every child can engage and achieve.
Setting clear boundaries while demonstrating empathy and consistency.
Collaborating with school staff to create a nurturing, structured learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
A current Team Teach qualification is essential.
Experience working with children or young people facing SEMH challenges, behavioural difficulties, or similar needs.
A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people.
Access to your own transport is preferred but not required.
Location:
We have opportunities available across Harrogate and surrounding areas, including Knaresborough, Ripon, and Boroughbridge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
