Job Description
Class1 Personnel have a new opening for an HGV Class 2 Crane Driver on a permanent basis to join an established construction business in the Welwyn Garden City area.
The role of the HGV Class 2 Crane Driver will involve operating a HiAb crane - newly qualified crane operator accepted.
Working hours will be 44hrs covering Monday to Friday. We can offer a salary between £33k-£35K depending on experience + £2.4 bonus
Annual Leave 20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays
PERMANENT HGV Class 2 Crane Driver
DUTIES for the HGV Class 2 Crane Driver
• Delivering and collecting materials with the assistants of a crane.
• Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
• Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.
• Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
• Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
• Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
Essential criteria for HGV Class 2 Crane Driver
• Crane/Hiab Licence/Knowledge.
• Full driver’s valid CPC and Tacho
• Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
• You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
• Good communication both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills
. Desirable to have FORS training ALLMI accreditation and HiAb D4 and D5
